A crucial element of the Cologne Summer Schools program is a group project which the participants develop during the entire summer school period. On the last day every student belonging to a working group has the chance to present her/his findings that are based on the academic input, further konowledge and own creativity.
This year, the participants worked on questions regarding important competencies that are needed in digital societies. The groups could focus on the following subtopics that represent different fields:
- an educational project, e.g. an university seminar, an extra-curricular activity or a foundation project or
- a business project, e.g. a startup company or
- a public campaign / local initiative, e.g. a campaign to promote knowledge on data rights and security.
