A two-week summer school with 23 participants from 12 countries

Networking and intercultural exchange are pivotal for оur programs and essential for us when designing and planing the program every year. Thus, the participants for us are not just beneficiaries from the academic program, but the core of the program. In 2021 we were honoured to receive applications from students from various countries and fields of study. We took extra time in the beginning of the program to foster interpersonal exchange and stimulate the group to grow together and get to know each other beyond the academic topics and their opinions about scientific theories and findings.

The feedback some of the participants voluntarily provided us, is depicted on the pictures below. Let them convince you with their own words!

Our participants came from partners world wide and Santander's international network of universities. We were honoured to meet 23 students from the follwoing 12 countries: Argentina, Brazil, China and Hong Kong, Colombia, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Nigeria, Romania, Russia, Spain and Turkey. It is a great pleasure for us to announce that for the first time we had a student from Nigeria in our program.

Since the program was open to all university majors, the partcipants had the great opportunity to connect and network with students from various academic fields. (The table is sorted alphabetically according to the university's name.)
