Studying abroad as an international student can be challenging, especially from an intercultural perspective. It may be helpful to be prepared and to deal with the following key questions:
- What is culture? What is my own cultural character?
- How does culture influence our thinking, behavior and communication?
- What are challenges and opportunities of intercultural experiences at an university (especially with focus on studying in Germany)?
In this workshop, knowledge of general cultural and culture-specific differences is taught and theoretical input is combined with interactive exercises.
