Lanzhou University International Summer Program
The program is a full-time non-credit program under the theme of Sustainability & Ancient Silk Road, landing in the hot-spots within Gansu provincial region. This program highlights on an 7-day project-based field trip. You will gain rich experience of on-the-way lectures, group discussions, excursions and more! Click for more information.

Location: Lanzhou, Gansu, China
Deadline of Nomination and online-registration: April 30 (by Department 93. International Mobility, or directly contact UoC Regional Office China)
Cost: Each participant will have to pay 1000 yuan for registration. After, you can enjoy 12-day free accommodation and local transportation during the program. Please also be noted that participants will have to be responsible for all the other costs by themselves.

Background:
Gansu Province is located at the upstream of the Yellow River, winding more than 1600 kilometers from the east to the west. It is the intersection zone of Qinghai-Xizang plateau, the Loess plateau and Inner Mongolian plateau like the shape of jade Ruyi, meaning good luck and blessing. The landform is so diverse, including grasslands and mountains, glaciers and rivers, Gobi desert.......Being colorful not only in the land view, it is also blessed as the cradles of traditional Chinese culture and enriches with a splendid cultures of 54 ethnic groups among all 56 Chinese peoples.
Lanzhou University (LZU) situates in Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu as well as the geometric center of Chinese territory. Established in 1909, LZU is under the direct administration of Chinese Central Government, spanning 583 acres across two campuses and three affiliated hospitals.
