Promoting good governance and civil society for African scholarship holders

LEAD! — Leadership for Africa

LEAD! prepares the scholarship holders of the DAAD ‘Leadership for Africa’ programme for successful and responsible work after their studies - be it in Germany, in their home country or in another country.
Through knowledge transfer, the scholarship holders gain insights into the theory and practice of good governance, civil society engagement and sustainable development. Through skills training, LEAD! improves the scholarship holders' chances of a successful career start. Through intensive mentoring in small groups, the scholarship holders develop individual development plans to shape their own future and take control of it.
