irk W. Junker: Cassandra’s Error: Thirty Years in the Rhetoric of Climate Science

Prof. Dr. Kirk W. Junker is Professor of Law, Director of the Environmental Law Center, and Board Chair of the International Master of Environmental Sciences Programme at the University of Cologne.  He was formerly a Lecturer in Science Communication at the Open University, UK, Queen’s University Belfast, and Dublin City University.  He is a co-founder of the European Network of Science Communication Teachers (ENSCOT) and the European Network of Science Communication Researchers (ENSCORE).  He edited Science and the Public, co-edited Communicating Science: Professional Contexts and has contributed to the Routledge Handbook on Applied Climate Ethics.  He was previously a trial lawyer with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources.
