Prof. Dr. Lizette Jacinto
Since December 2015, Dr. Lizette Jacinto has been a full-time Associate Professor at the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities "Alfonso Vélez Pliego" (ICSyH) of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Mexico, in the Department of History. Since 2017 she is a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) in Mexico. In October 2004 she began her doctoral studies at the University of Witten-Herdecke in Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. phil. Jörn Rüsen. Between 2004 and 2009 she worked as a doctoral researcher at the Institute for Advanced Cultural Studies (KWI) in the city of Essen in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. In 2010, she was awarded the degree of Dr. phil. by the University of Witten-Herdecke. Since 2015 she has been one of the main trainers for Latin America of the ProGRANT courses.
