“Indian economy, business and culture system” - Summer School des Zentrums für moderne Indienstudien für Studierende der WiSo-Fakultät der Universität zu Köln

Vom 17. bis zum 28. März 2014 bietet das Zentrum für moderne Indienstudien an der Universität zu Köln eine Summer School zum Thema “Indian economy, business and culture system” an der Symbiosis International University in Pune, Indien an.
Neben diversen Fachvorträgen werden im Rahmen des Aufenthaltes unterschiedliche Unternehmen und Einrichtungen besucht um so einen eine möglichst gelungene Verknüpfung zwischen Theorie und Praxis zu gewährleisten.
Gefördert wird die Summer School durch den Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst mit Mittel des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung im Rahmen der Initiative „A New Passage to India“, so dass für die Teilnehmer nur ein geringer Eigenanteil anfällt.

This makes it clear that "understanding" does not only includes a linguistic component, but an equally important intercultural. From this perspective the book deals with the use of case methods at universities and includes three - adaptable to the specific leaning objectives - case methods for university teachers.
