Please Find below information for master, doctoral and post-doctoral students and scholarship holders, who can now apply for a long term visa at VFS (of course after booking an appointment) :
Important Information for master, doctoral and post-doctoral students, scholarship holders and certain highly skilled professionals.
If you hail from the jurisdiction of the German Embassy in New Delhi, and you
- want to pursue doctoral, post-doctoral or master studies and have a binding, unconditional admission letter from a German University or
- have been awarded a full scholarship by an official German Institution for higher studies in Germany or
- have a binding contract for a highly qualified employment in Germany and a binding approval letter issued by the competent German labor Authorities -“ZAV-Zustimmung”- (applicants and dependents from the New Delhi Embassy jurisdiction only),
you can schedule an appointment (http://www.vfs-germany.co.in/NewDelhi_NorthIndia/longterm_appointment.html ) for the submission of your visa application and submit it at the Visa Application Centre in New Delhi.
Please note that there’s a heavy rush at VFS too after the new system has been introduced. You are therefore requested to book your appointments well in advance.

KIIT is organizing an International Conference on Recent Innovations in Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering during 27th and 28th July 2018 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha State, India.
