Target group: Participants in the preparatory German courses for refugees

This event takes place in cooperation with the BAföG office.

Students with a refugee background can apply for benefits according to the "Bundes-Ausbildungsförderungs-Gesetz" (BAföG for short) under certain conditions. The BAföG office in Cologne is responsible for applications from students at the University of Cologne. At this event, a member of staff from the BAföG office will provide information about the specific conditions for refugees and will be available to answer questions. The event is primarily aimed at participants in the preparatory German courses for refugees at the University of Cologne.
