LegalLead Autumn School in Cologne

Call for participation

Within the DAAD Taz'iz LegalLead project, we will organize a one-week Winter School in Cologne, Germany from 6-11 November 2023. During the Winter School you will learn how law clinics work, how to build up law clinics at your university. Furthermore, you will gain theoretical knowledge on the fields of female empowerment and good governance.

Application requirements for autumn school in Cartage University, Tunisia, 2024:
 

1. Postgraduate students (Master/Ph.D.)from partner universities either in the courses year or the thesis’s years can apply
 

2. Applicants have to submit a motivation letter (1 page) consist of the following:

1. Explain you interest in the topics of law clinics, female empowerment and good government

2. Expected practical outcomes from participating in the autumn school

3. Overall benefit from participating in the autumn school

4. Summary of the applicant’s interests, achievement and experiences or any participation in scientific conferences in relevant areas

5. Motivation to be or become active in a Law Clinic

 
3. Mastering English language (speaking and reading)

4. In an exceptional case a student from undergraduate studies can be considered if he or she meets all requirements and the selection committee is convinced that his/her participation is beneficial

5. Applying for a Tunisian Visa (if necessary) is the selected students’ responsibility. And he/she should submit all documents and launch all necessary processes. Nevertheless, the DAAD, University of Cologne and University of Cartage will support visa processes where needed.
