The Regional offices of the University of Cologne in India & South Asia, China, and Egypt, invite you for an online interactive information session on the Cologne Graduate School of Ageing Research (CGA).

The event will disseminate information about the research areas of the graduate school, research profiles of the faculties, and the various structural and financial support opportunities for existing and prospective young researchers, faculties, and post-Doctoral aspirants.

The Cologne Graduate School for Ageing Research (CGA) is a joint project of the partners Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing, Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research and Cluster of Excellence on Cellular stress response in Ageing-associated Disease (CECAD).

CGA trains a new generation of biomedical scientists to unravel the basic molecular mechanisms underlying ageing and age-related diseases. The Graduate school offers a funded structured 3-year doctoral programme and consists of seminars and courses in ageing research, writing and presentation training as well as practical career development opportunities. The CGA strives to foster scientific independence in the students by immersing them in high quality research, and encouraging critical thinking skills, lively exchange with other scientists and active participation. The Cologne Graduate School of Ageing Research also offers a Master Fellowship programme for excellent and motivated students who wish to learn more about ageing research, while pursuing the Master studies in the Biological Science or Biochemistry Master programmes of the University of Cologne.

The event's target audience is prospective Bachelor's & Masters's students, young researchers, and faculty from India, South Asia, China, and Egypt.
