Train the Trainer Courses
Developing Training Material for Members of Staff
Based on the findings of the Project Results and the included consultation concept, two Train-the-Trainer workshops were designed. The stakeholders taking part were from different departments (e.g. start-up counselling centers, faculty staff, International Offices, Career Services) from all three universities involved in the project. Two five-day workshops have been held in Cologne and in Granada to ensure that the trainers from the three partner universities are ready to support our target groups.
Supporting International Students and Co-Incubators
The first Train the Trainer Course was held in Cologne from January 20 to 24, 2025. It brought together staff from the three partner universities to learn how to deliver new training modules aimed at supporting international students and building up international co-incubators.
Participants explored ways to connect refugee and international student entrepreneurs to local university incubators and support networks. The workshop also introduced practical tools and online learning materials that can now be implemented at the trainers’ home institutions.
Focus on Female Empowerment
The second workshop took place in Granada from February 10 to 14, 2025. It focused on promoting women empowerment within the field of international entrepreneurship.
Like the Cologne event, the Granada workshop equipped participants with training materials and digital resources designed to support students and staff in supporting young women entrepreneurs on their way to successful entrepreneurship.
