After the first forum in 2018 in Berlin and the second on Novebmer 19^th in Beijing, the third Sino-German Science Technology Forum was held on May 24^th in Quanzhou. Under the theme "Creating a new future of Sino-German Sci-Tech cooperation: Mutual support for commen development". government officials, entrepreneurs, scholars, representative of social societies and press were invited to participate into the event. On the opening ceremony, Generalkonsul in Guangzhou Jan Rudolph, the Secretary of Provincial Party Committee of Fujian Prof. Zhou Zuyi, the former Chinese ambassador in Germany Mr. Shi Mingde, the former vicepresident of German Bundestag Dr. Hans-Peter Friedrich, the vice chairman of the National People´s Congress Dr. Ding Zhongli, the general director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Dr. Chen Xu gave greeting words.

In the following main forum seven key-note speakers shared their experience in facilitating the scientific and technical communication among both countries and their expectation on future collaboration.

In the afternoon, three subforums were parallelly held, focusing on "Digital Economy and Intelligent Manufacturing", "New Energy and Development of Automobile Industry" and "Bioscience and New Medicine”.

On May 25th, guests were able to visit the local industrial park, research institution and innovative enterprises.
