Erasmus+ studies
Are you interested in an exchange semester or an entire year abroad at one of the EUniWell member universities? Then apply for a semester/year abroad funded by Erasmus+. The application process is organized by the faculties' Centers for International Relations (ZIB). Please refer to the Study abroad with Erasmus+ page for information on the application process and contact the Centre of International Relations of your faculty.
If your faculty cannot offer you a place at the university of your choice at the European University for Well-Being, please do not hesitate to contact us again and we will discuss your options.
EUniWell Mobility Skills
All students, teachers and employees who do an exchange at one of our EUniWell partner universities will be offered a variety of courses on EUniWell Mobility Skills (EMS). This is intended to train language and intercultural communication skills in particular. As part of the preparation, all those interested in an exchange are asked to take part in one or more of the EMS courses.

Internship in a EUniWell environment
Do an internship in one of the EUniWell cities or regions! EUniWell works with various associated partners on the subject of well-being. Associated partners are e.g. research institutions, schools, cities and communities or local companies. We would be happy to help you find the right contact. Of course, you can also approach organisations and companies independently. An internship can be funded by the common options. We are delighted to be of further help.

INTERNSHIP OFFER AT EUNIWELL PARTNER UNIVERSITY - DEPARTMENT OF LANGUAGES (VÄXJÖ, SWEDEN)
The Department of Languages at Linnaeus University in Växjö, Sweden, offers three internships each term for the subjects English, Spanish and German (one intern for each subject area). The department educates students who major or minor in Language Studies, e.g. in programmes within culture and communication studies, as well as teacher trainees. The language department with 40 employees is looking for motivated staff members to support the team in their daily work in the subjects of English, Spanish or German. The general tasks for the interns include teaching assistance and administrative work. Further information can be found in the attached job advertisement.
The internship would ideally be 4-5 months long in the periods from September to December or January to May, but this is negotiable. The internship will not be paid. However, you can apply for an Erasmus+ grant for internships.

Summer/Winter Schools, Blended Learning and other short-term programmes
In addition to traditional exchange formats, the EUniWell universities also offer short-term programmes such as summer and winter schools or hackathons in virtual, physical or blended formats. We will inform you here about upcoming programmes as soon as they are offered as part of EUniWell. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in participating or as a lecturer in conducting a short-term program.

CURRENT OFFERS
Blended Intensive Course "Green and Carbon Neutral Cities" in Florence - Apply now!
The course will be a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) and will give participants detailed tools on the different aspects involved, instruments of analysis and design tools to develop ideas and make plans for mitigation and adaptation to climate change in urban areas. Within the BIP framework, two different and complementary education methods are organised: online events (in July 2023) completed through a mobility program in Florence, at the School of Engineering of the University of Florence. The lectures will be followed by a project to develop in a group.
- Online phase: two days of online activites in July 2023 (dates to be confirmed)
- Onsite phase: 4 - 8 September 2023 in Florence
The programme will award 3 ECTS credits to participating students (Transcript of Records to be supplied by University of Florence).

EUniWell Courses in Cologne, Florence or Murcia for Future Teachers - Apply now!
The European University for Well-Being (EUniWell) offers three distinct courses for future teachers (each 5 days long). Students of the EUniWell partner universities, including University of Cologne, can now apply for a course in Cologne, Florence (Italy) or Murcia (Spain). For taking part in one of the courses abroad, there are places for two students from each university to participate in the course.
The application is open to all students of Teacher Education at University of Cologne (Bachelor or Master level; all subjects). With your application you are also applying for a (partial) funding of your stay in Florence or Murcia (travel and accommodation). To do so, please fill out the application form linked below by the respective application deadline and send us your CV and motivation letter (one page) in English language (upload via the form). Background information: The courses have been developed and organised by the EUniWell Teacher Education Arena. This group was conceived as a place to promote cooperation between schools, local communities and universities. To build on this network the Teacher Education Arena is now offering three distinct courses for future teachers.
University of Birmingham - EUniWell Visiting Fellowship Scheme
The University of Birmingham has launched a new short-term visiting fellowship scheme to support early career and post-doctoral researchers to share knowledge, create connections and collaborate with academic colleagues on well-being related themes. Early career and post-doctoral researchers from EUniWell partners are invited to spend up to three months at the University of Birmingham. The funding available will cover up to £500 travel costs and £1,500 per month to support living expenses. Applicants will need to show how their research project relates to one of EUniWell’s four research arenas: Well-Being and Health; Individual and Social Well-Being; Environment, Urbanity and Well-Being; Teacher Education.

Staff Exchange Opportunities
You can also take part in mobility programmes as administrative or technical university staff member. Some of the EUniWell universities offer staff training weeks for which you can apply for. You can also spend a self-organized stay at a EUniWell member university. Please get in touch with us, if you need any contacts at one of the partner institutions.
To finance such a stay you can for example apply for the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility programme. Further information about this Erasmus+ funding opportunity at University of Cologne can be found on the respective website: Erasmus Staff Mobility Alternatively, you could receive a EUniWell funding for your stay abroad. Open Lecture Series
RESEARCH ON WELL-BEING
Participate in the Open Lecture Series „Research on Well-Being”. In this format, recognized scholars, scientists and lecturers of the EUniWell partner universities give lectures on various topics related to the concept of well-being. TRANSDISCIPLINARY APPROACHES TO DEMENTIA AND AGING
The Phenomenology of Dementia and Aging Network - including researchers of University of Cologne - is delighted to announce the full programme of the lecture series “Transdisciplinary Approaches to Dementia and Aging” of 2021/22.
