Orientation framework for sustainability and climate protection

The University of Cologne actively works towards carbon neutrality as outlined in the Climate Protection Act of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition, the universities in NRW are developing approaches together with the state government on how they can contribute to the implementation of climate protection goals. These include, above all, reducing greenhouse gases by increasing energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption, expanding renewable energies and climate-friendly mobility concepts.
