Who Can Become a Member?
Membership in the Junior Faculty Club is open to all junior academics at the University of Cologne or at member institutions of the Research Alliance Cologne who have completed a doctoral degree and are striving for a permanent (or tenured) professorship (so called "late postdocs", approx. 2 years after receiving the Ph.D.).
These include among others, but not exclusively:
• Junior Professors
• Heads of Junior Research Groups
• Researchers Who Are Currently Preparing Their ‘Habilitation’
• Postdoctoral Fellows
