Contribution to the KPA II:
Prof. Goeree's research naturally connects with that of many in the KPA II. One area concerns the study of spectrum auctions, both from a theoretical and an experimental point of view. Another area is the study of bounded rationality and how it affects the optimal design of institutions. A final area studies how the collection of "big data" can further the goals of those who acquire the data while protecting those that the data is gathered from.
