Professor Dr Joybrato Mukherjee
In cooperation with the other members of the Rectorate, the Rector represents the University externally and is responsible for the management and strategic development of the University.
He chairs the Rectorate and the Senate and is the chief supervisor of the University’s scientific staff. He defines the guidelines for the execution of the Rectorate's tasks.
