Processes for the development and (re)accreditation of degree programmes

The core processes for the establishment and initial accreditation of degree programmes, and for their development and reaccreditation, always comprize four phases.

The Four Phases of the Core Processes are:

1) Design/reflection
2) Documentation
3) Implementation
4) (Re)accreditation

These phases are designed to be recombined in the core processes as in a modular system. The aim of the processes is to consolidate the positive characteristics of the degree programmes and to exploit opportunities for their qualitative development. This idea was illustrated in an open-ended spiral (see diagram), symbolizing both the continuous pursuit for growth and an evolving quality culture.
