A DWIH New Delhi Online Workshop

Grant Writing & Management

The concept of the workshop is to illustrate the methods and technical know-how required to prepare successful international research proposals irrespective of a certain disciplinary field. The workshop covered topics from content development of a research proposal, scientific writing skills to budget planning. The workshop is suitable for early-career researchers, who are looking for post-doctoral fellowships or independent research grants for young researchers.

This is the first time that early career researcher researchers from Brazil, to show solidarity of UoC with DWIH New Delhi & DWIH São Paulo, are invited to participate in the workshop.

The workshop is organized in two phases:

1. Phase I covers the basics of writing a grant and fellowship application. Phase I of the workshop was organized on 2nd – 3rd December 2021.

2. Phase II will provide individual guidance and review to the few selected participants. These participants will be shortlisted on the basis of their draft application that should be adapted to the research fields and methods as explained earlier in Phase I. Phase I of the workshop will be organized on 3-4 March 2022.
