Team and contact
Welcome to the central point of contact for the topic of sustainability at the University of Cologne. Our team consists of the Vice-Rector for Sustainability Prof. Dr. Kirk W. Junker and the Sustainability Office, which was newly founded in spring 2023.
Our mission
"We provide a space for questions, ideas, suggestions and discourse, to network, help make the topic of sustainability visible, accessible and tangible, and jointly accompany the transformation process towards a sustainable university."
Let's talk! The consultation hour for sustainability
For all interested parties who have questions about sustainability at the University of Cologne, are looking for support for project ideas or simply want to know what our sustainability work looks like, we as the sustainability office offer a consultation hour at the InnoDom Cologne every Wednesday from 12 - 1 p.m. For this, you can register informally via nachhaltigkeitverw.uni-koeln.de, and we will be happy to arrange a meeting place with you.
