The University of Cologne wants to show that research from all kinds of different areas has a real impact on society. That is why the Vice-Rector for Transfer to Society is responsible for the formulation, implementation and further development of the university-wide transfer strategy. We aim to make the thinking, processes and activities surrounding transfer an integral part of our university, to dovetail them with research and teaching and to proactively synchronize them with the university’s development plans. Together with the Transfer Office, the Vice-Rector maintains close contact with the Faculties, Key Profile Areas, central institutions and the administration.
