Experience report

Conference Travel Grant, Daniel Moser (University of Cologne)
“My research focus is on the close interaction between beneficial microbes and the major crop maize.  Therefore, it was highly valuable for me to present my research at the VIB Conference “Translational Research in Crops” (22-23 June 2023) and to get into discussions with other researchers in my field.
The conference in Ghent was really great and a complete success! There were many good talks and interactions during and after the conference. Many of the talks also focused on contributions to food security (e.g. on resistance to abiotic and biotic factors). Fortunately, my poster was also visited several times - which is sometimes difficult in poster sessions. Thank you again for making this possible for me.“
