Requirements profile

The University Prize for Administration and Science Management is awarded to employees or working groups.

Evaluation criteria

  • Exceptional performance in the execution of service tasks
  • Not more than three years ago
  • Broad impact for the various user groups (especially for cross-organizational projects)
  • Where appropriate, also relevant in the fields of equal opportunities, sustainability or communication
  • Longer-term effect
  • Ability to innovate

Who can put candidates forward?

  • University lecturers
  • Academic staff
  • Administrative and technical staff (TuV)
  • Doctoral candidates
  • Students

Which candidates can be put forward?

  • Individual members of administrative and technical staff or academic staff
  • Working groups / organizational units of the central administration, the central units, the faculties and other organizational units of the university

Submission

  • There is a form available for downloading for the submission. Only proposals for which the form has been completed will be considered.
  • Please submit your proposal electronically only.
  • Provide information on all six evaluation criteria.
  • Submission with a maximum half-page stating your reasons.
  • Your proposal must be signed.

Please note the deadline for submitting your proposal on time.
 

Who decides the price award?

The Rectorate on the recommendation of the spokesperson of the Deans and Commercial Director of the University Hospital Cologne
 

Awards

The prizes will be awarded on the occasion of the annual reception of the Rector on 23 January 2024.

End of the submission period: 6 October 2023, 23:59 hrs.

Proposals must be submitted to the Rectorate by 6 October 2023, 23:59 hrs, exclusively by e-mail. Please note: The deadline is the date of the e-mail sent to the Rectorate. Proposals that are not received until 7 October 2023 can no longer be considered.
