The University Award for Sustainability honours outstanding achievements in the field of sustainability. The achievements must already be implemented and should not date back more than three years. Additionally, they should have a structural impact, distinguishing them from individual events or qualification theses, e.g. the establishment of lecture series, centers, standards, certifications, etc.

The decision regarding the recipient of the University Award in the category of Sustainability is made by the Rectorate based on the recommendation of the Sustainability Council.
