Application processes for the three types of scholarships
- Deutschlandstipendium of the Federal Republic of Germany
- Sozialstipendium of the University of Cologne
- Scholarship for Students with Disabilities/Special Needs or Chronic Illness
The current application round has ended. Applications are not possible again until summer 2024 for the winter semester 2024/25.
You can only take part in the selection process if your completed application is received within the application period and contains all the required documents.
Please note that your applications must be submitted within the application period even if you have not yet been admitted. In these special cases, you can submit your letter of admission later.

You can apply for all three types of scholarships (Deutschlandstipendium of the Federal Republic of Germany, Sozialstipendium of the University of Cologne, Scholarships for Students with Disabilities/Special Needs or Chronic Illness). For this purpose, please upload your online application to the respective application server (see above). You only need one application to apply for both the Sozialstipendium of the University of Cologne and the Scholarship for Students with Disabilities/Special Needs or Chronic Illness. Please tick both scholarships types on the application agreement.
