The successful acquisition of third-party funds increasingly represents a central qualification in negotiations for an appointment as professor. In this workshop you will get an overview of the most important funding organisations and their programmes. In particular, funding opportunities for your own position, for a research stay abroad and for starting your own junior research group are presented. In addition to that, Dr. Vera de Bel (Sociology & Social Psychology) will talk about her experiences in applying for the Walter Benjamin Programme of the German Research Foundation (DFG).

The online workshop will be held in English. You will receive your Zoom access data for participation approximately one week before the workshop.
