UNITE Summer School 2022 "Sustainability in Schools and Teacher Education: International Perspectives and Impulses"

19.-23.09.2022 | Summer School on site with hybrid offers

Engaging with sustainability must not only be about knowing the problems facing our planet and its inhabitants, but above all, about being actively involved in finding solutions for sustainable education. With a Summer School on Sustainability in Schools and Teacher Education, we want to approach the topic from an international and interdisciplinary perspective and thus make an active contribution to further strengthening and deepening the topic in teacher education.

The Summer School will take place in cooperation with our nine UNITE partner universities and thus offers an opportunity for international cooperation and networking. Participating countries are Argentina, Estonia, Canada, Mexico, Namibia, Austria, Sweden, the USA and Vietnam.

By this, multidimensional perspectives from transdisciplinary as well as theoretical and practical sessions ensure a research-oriented linking of theory and practice. Look forward to an international collaboration among prospective teachers and (virtual) exchange formats as well as expert lectures and discussions.

The Summer School takes place on the campus of the University of Cologne. We also offer some digital lectures and workshops. Please indicate when registering whether you plan to attend on-site or online.
