Especially in summer, people from Cologne like to spend their free time on the "Uniwiese" (the lawn in front of the university) and in the park called “Grüngürtel”. They bring drinks and snacks, a picknick blanket as well as some games and just enjoy the sun.

You probably have already seen students playing a game on the Uniwiese, where a ball is smashed onto a net that looks like a small trampoline. Are you interested in learning the game “Spikeball” or just play a few rounds, come along and spend an afternoon in the park with us!

On this afternoon we will explain you the rules of “Spikeball” and play a few rounds afterwards. We will also introduce you to the game “Wikingerschach” (Kubb), another popular park game, so that you are able to join other groups afterwards. The International Office is going to provide some snacks and drinks.

Meeting point: in front of the SSC building
Participants: max. 20 participants
