In his talk “From eye to motor neurons: Novel strategies to promote nerve repair” Professor Dr. Dietmar Fischer, director of the Pharmacological Institute, will showcase how insight into regeneration of afferent neurons taught surprising lessons also about efferent neurons. With him as a new thriving force on campus, it will be especially interesting to explore together, where, how, and in which collaborative settings potential missing links to clinical-therapeutic nerve regeneration may be overcome.
