The research centres provide state-of-the-art facilities and create dynamic and internationally competitive research environments. Their research is interdisciplinary in nature, with a view to application and transfer. The research centers have a strong international outlook, support the career development of young researchers, offer family support and build up a network of national and international strategic partnerships. They are at the forefront of their respective fields.
