Keio Cologne Lecture Series

Japan and Germany share the experience of a particularly apparent demographic change. With a life expectancy of 85 years in Japan and 81 years in Germany and an almost identical average age of 47.2 years of populations in both countries, Japan and Germany share common chances, problems and questions.

The Keio University/Tokyo, and the University of Cologne share particularly strong research fields dedicated to aging-associated issues, which are the focus of their joint lecture series.
