While working on your doctoral project, differences of opinion and tensions may arise between you and your supervisor. In such cases, talk to your supervisor immediately and describe your situation. Misunderstandings or unspoken expectations are often the reason for tense situations. If conflicts have arisen from differing views, it can be helpful to consult an ombudsperson for addressing the issue in a conversation.
